One website, no plans to move platform, and you would rather own the licence outright — Starter is the honest answer.
Want the connection kept current through new WordPress releases and feed changes, with a staging site — that is what Pro costs.
Tell me what you sell, how much stock you carry and what your website is built on. If the once-off licence covers it I will say so rather than sell you a subscription.
