DealerHub integration · Live on Irish dealership websites

Your DoneDeal stock, on your own website.

Every vehicle is already photographed, priced and specified in DealerHub. Your own site should read that stock rather than ask for it a second time.

A dealership SUV emerging out of a vehicle listing, the listing dissolving into the page as the car becomes real

Add a vehicle once.

Change the price once.

Mark it sold once.

Your own website follows.

The stock already exists.

One vehicle record carries the photographs, the mileage, the specification, the price and the status. The website reads that record — the same one your staff already keep current.

Stop maintaining two stock lists.

Done twice, every vehicle, every time

  • Remove it when sold
  • Check both versions still agree

The integration removes the second job entirely.

Shaw Commercials keeps tractor units, tippers and panel vans current on its own site from the DealerHub stock its staff already maintain — filtered by the details that matter for commercial vehicles rather than a generic car catalogue.

A harder inventory: motorcycles, prestige cars and several franchises. The stock feeds a site structured around the business instead of one generic listing page.

Your website stays your website.

Not a DoneDeal page inside your site. The stock arrives as content on your own domain, presented the way your dealership sells.

Supported and running in production on the three dealerships above.

Duda

No traditional plugin required — the site is supplied through the API layer.

React / Next.js

For custom-built dealership sites and more bespoke stock experiences.

Custom

If the site can securely consume the feed, the connection may not need rebuilding.

So what is the API service? You probably do not need to care.

A motorcycle dealer should not be handed a car website with different labels, and a truck buyer cares about different information from somebody buying a hatchback.

Why I built it

If the dealer already maintains their stock in DoneDeal, their website should be able to use it.

Car and bike dealers already spend time keeping their stock up to date on DoneDeal. The vehicles are there. The photos are there. The prices, mileage and specifications are there.

But when it came to the dealer’s own website, that same stock often had to be entered again. DealerHub WordPress Plugin was built to remove that duplication.

It connects a dealer’s DoneDeal stock to their website, so vehicles can be displayed automatically and kept in sync without somebody having to maintain the same inventory in two places. It started as a WordPress plugin because that was where the immediate need was.

Car and bike dealers were fed up with trying to maintain their website stock.

Already using DoneDeal DealerHub?

If you are currently updating DealerHub and then manually updating your website as well, there is probably a simpler way to do it. I can either integrate DealerHub with an existing suitable website or build the stock integration into a new dealership website. Tell me what your website is built with and what you sell.
